MADISON'S EXCLUSIVE GREENEARTH CLEANER~

For years, we as drycleaners have had no choice but to clean your clothes in solvents which have been based upon carbon chemistry.
Recently we have found a new solvent!

The new GreenEarth solution is good for you, our customers. because it is an excellent cleaner, it is odorless and leaves your clothes feeling and looking like new.

It is good for the drycleaning industry because it is not toxic and can be handled easily and safely.

"It is good for everybody" around the world since it is an environmentally friendly product and process!

I have been in the textile care business since 1974.  Over the thirty plus year span working in this industry I have seen and learned a lot about what works and what doesn't.

In 1996, I started Best Cleaners of Madison taking all of the things I had learned, determined to provide our customers with the Best possible service and quality.

In 2000, I started hearing about a new technology called “Green Earth Cleaning” developed by General Electric and a group of dry-cleaners I knew.  The silicone solution used in Green Earth Cleaning is chemically inert. This means not only does it remove all the EPA and OSHA concerns associated with dry-cleaning but it is better for the garments.

July 4, 2002, Independence Day!  We became the first Dry Cleaner in the State of Wisconsin to totally commit to a 100% Environmentally Friendly Dry Cleaning operation by eliminating perc and using ONLY "Green Earth Cleaning" or "Wet Cleaning"

In June 2003, we had an Air Quality Inspection by a DNR representative.  Based on DNR licensed laboratory results, we were granted “exempt” status. Our hazardous waste production is now ZERO!

2005 ~ Received the 2005 Wisconsin Business Friend of the Environment Award for "Pollution Prevention".

December 2006,  We opened our second location in Middleton Hills.

January 2009, We started using degradable poly to protect your finished garments. Degradable poly bags look and feel like traditional plastic garment bags but offer the benefit of breaking down naturally in the environment. While traditional plastic bags require almost 400 years before it can break down in landfills, our degradable poly, is made with an EPI oxo-biodegradable additive and will totally degrade in about 2 years, without need of a landfill.

Received the 2006, 2007, 2008,2009,2010 BEST OF MADISON AWARD!
